He's taken James hostage and Vermouth has to decide whether or not to give up the art for James's safety. Vermouth has no choice but to give up. In the next scene, Vermouth and James are hogtied side by side. Tony takes off their socks, and shoves them in their mouths. Tony places oil on their barefeet, and tickles them without mercy. He laughs as they squirm. To Tony, capturing and tickling the guards is just as good as stealing the art.
