Job hunting is a tedious task, after firing out so many applications I am so happy to have finally landed an interview for what could possibly be my dream job!
For the meeting I settled on wearing a white blouse, a faux leather skirt and when I get into the car I change out of my UGG slippers and change into a pair of transparent stripper type platform heels so show of my newly painted red toes, hoping to nail the whole sexy business look.
The ’92 Mercedes 190e compliments my look perfectly and I am feeling super optimistic… That is until I try to start the car.
It doesn’t start first time, second time and nor the third. It’s unlike this car to have engine problems but it is old so I put my high peep toe heels to work and pump the gas pedal while cranking and turning over the engine in hopes that the car will start.
It comes close, very close. The engine sometimes splutters but the car never fully starts.
I am not doing well for time and I am on the verge of being late to my interview which lets be honest, is not a good start at all and slowly my optimism trickles away as I grow desperate.
