When Toby Springs comes home late, his stepdad, Richard Lennox, is waiting for him - and he's angry. "You know what the punishment is," he says. "Aw, DAAAAAD!" Toby whines. "You don't want the same punishment as your step-brother, Cameron, do you? No? Then, an EAR WALK it is!" And with that, Richard grabs Toby by the earlobe and drags him around the room. The jock howls as his stepdad lectures him about responsibility. "OW! OW! OW! OW! OW!" until Richard thinks he's learned his lesson.

Later, Toby tries to sneak out to go to a drag race. Apparently, he has NOT learned his lesson. But there's his stepdad, waiting to get him back on the straight and narrow. The ear walk apparently didn't drive Richard's point home, so it's time to escalate the punishment. Richard strips Toby and makes him get on his knees and hold a stack of books straight out in front of him. The stepdad places clothespins on Toby's ears - OUCH! - and sits down to recite an epic poem about the value of ear punishment. Because this is the most normal, well-adjusted family ever.
