A BEAR?! What? Oh my! And my cottage is the only one you could find in the forest? Oh dear... Hide you? I'm not sure...as you can see, I have but a small, humble cottage. Hardly big enough for myself, much less a full-sized man. But perhaps...

Perhaps I could mesmerize you, magically shrink you down and keep you in a glass jar while we wait for the danger to pass. You would fit here in the safety of my cottage and you'd take up no space at all. That would be perfect! And once you're safe, I'll make you normal again.

I'll have to shrink you right now though. So close your eyes and let my magic begin to flow through you, mesmerizing you and shrinking you until you can fit in the palm of my hand. Like a little doll or toy, small enough to fit almost anywhere!

My whispers make you tingle, as I instruct you to shrink. That's just the magic, nothing to fear. Just shrink, shrink, shrink... your eyes begin to blur as you look deeply into my piercing blue eyes, you can't see straight anymore...you feel your body changing, tingling, jolting with some unseen sensation...it's like you really are shrinking, becoming smaller and smaller...but it can't be! You don't even believe in magic...

I tell you to open your eyes and the shock hits you. You really are tiny! You shrank!

I pick you up, giggling with glee. You're perfect! The Spell worked! And now you're mine!

You see, there was no bear, no danger at all actually... except for the danger you found when you knocked on my door. I'm a Forest Witch. And you played right into my hands. Mortal men are so easy to trick. Now you'll get to enjoy eternity in this little glass jar and I'll play with you however I like from now on. You'll Never Escape.
