Description
This is the first of three short stories. Lysippe and her Amazons and the Barbarian army lead by mighty Machismo upon the field of battle. Machismo beats his massive chest with clenched fists and challenges any woman to come forth to face him in single combat upon the field. Derinoe the Amazon comes forth to fight him. Machismo looks down with much scorn upon this mere girl who is so much smaller than himself. The Amazon women gasp as Derinoe goes down before the mighty sword of the Barbarian champion. But she quickly gets to her feet and she her much larger male foe. To the cheering of the Amazon women Derinoe stands triumphant with one foot planted upon the drum like chest of the once mighty Machismo the Barbarian. Finally we see his head set on a stick at the border of the Amazon Nation where it serves as a warning to other men of his ilk who would make war against the Amazon women.
