As a rule of thumb for my hair type, I really only need to wash it two or three times a week or else it dries out super bad and this happens to be one of those afternoons where I try to relax and scrub away the week's stress so far. I wet down my chin length hair, stretching out over my bathtub as I do and then start to work in the shampoo. As it lathers, I scrub and scrub, but before long it's time to rinse all the suds down the drain. After getting all the bubbles out of my hair, I rub in some conditioner and let it do it's magic before rinsing that out too and wrapping my head up in a towel.
