Michelle is washing her hair in the tub. She leans forward, dunking her entire head under the water, face first, blowing tons of bubbles while she swishes her long brown hair under water until it becomes thoroughly saturated. She adds a handful of shampoo to her hands and works it throughout her long dark hair, bringing it to a bubbly lather. She leans forward to rinse, bringing her entire head fully underwater again as she works the shampoo from her hair. I join her in the bathroom when I notice that sh'e gone through yet another bottle of my shampoo. I've been buying shampoo every week and I'm getting sick of it. I pour some shampoo into my hands and work it throughout her hair, explaining that once her hair is really wet, she doesn't need THAT much shampoo. I work it into a very thick bubbly lather, using my fingers to scrub all over her scalp and work the shampoo throughout her long strands and down to the ends while I scold her about her excessive use of shampoo. When it's time for her to rinse, I push her head down, face first into the water and I hold her there. I grab her by her hair and lift her up for a breath and shove her face back down into the water as she struggles to fight me. Up again and back down. I wonder how long she can hold her breath while she struggles under the water. Michelle stops fighting and I let go of her head. She doesn't move.
